Sheetal Jadhav

Bio

Hi there, I am Sheetal Jadhav a Ph.D. student at Rajan lab at IISER Pune. My research focuses on investigating the neural mechanisms underlying complex vocal sequences using songbirds. I work at the interaction of systems neurosciences and neuroethology using a wide range of techniques such as electrophysiological recordings, pharmacological infusions, and behavioral assays in awake, singing birds. Outside of research, I am an avid reader and blogger. I am a self-taught photographer and an amateur Indian classical singer. In a world where time is a social construct, I feel blissfully at peace sipping my chai while enjoying the sound of rain. Feel free to reach out to me in any way possible, I am always up for a conversation.
